Privacy Policy for LumaStamp
Last Updated: May 20, 2026
This privacy policy explains how LumaStamp handles your data. LumaStamp is built around local-first storage and Apple platform services. We do not operate our own servers to collect, analyze, or sell your photo, stamp, or journal content.
1. What Data the App Handles
LumaStamp handles photos captured in the app, generated stamp images, generated sticker images, journal page layouts, local metadata such as template identifiers, dates, favorite status, and optional location metadata such as city labels and coordinates.
2. Local Storage
Generated stamps, stickers, journal exports, and app metadata are saved locally on your device. The app does not require a LumaStamp account.
3. Photos and Camera
Camera access is used for taking photos inside the app. If you enable saving original photos to the system Photos library, LumaStamp uses photo library add-only access to save those originals. If that setting is off, LumaStamp does not request photo library write access for original photo saving.
4. Location
If stamp location recording is enabled, LumaStamp may request location permission to add optional location metadata, such as city labels and coordinates, to future stamps. You can turn this off in the app. Location is not used for advertising or background tracking.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
LumaStamp Pro subscription status is handled by the App Store and StoreKit. The app may store the latest verified entitlement display state locally, but payment processing, card details, and App Store credentials are handled by Apple.
6. Analytics and Advertising
The current version does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs to measure your photo, stamp, journal, or app usage content.
